SAABA – Sharon Eyal & Gai Behar

Folkå is, above all, centered on ritual – it is a powerful story about community and its customs and traditions. To move forward together, we play a game of cooperation and connection in which we spin, sing and dance in order to achieve our common desires. A pulsating visual and auditory landscape, Folkå takes us on a journey of human sounds, chants, and skin drums, where our feet make the ground move. It presents a ritual for our time, where looking to the past reminds us of our place in the endless cycle of life and we celebrate mankind’s relationship to nature. It is an ode on life performed during a night of sacrifice and celebrations.

Folkå – Marcos Morau
A ritual of the present. Voice, body rhythm, and collective movement as an image of community, traditions, and relationship with nature.

SAABA – Sharon Eyal & Gai Behar
Pulsating tension, hypnotic movement, and an irresistible musical groove that draws you in immediately.
