Three stories of three anti-fascist fighters. In 1936, Štefan Lux, an actor, travels to Geneva in ordre to protest against Nazi Germany. Edit. In 1943, Faye Schulman, a Polish photographer, is hiding precious negatives in the ground. Edit. A native of Trnava, writer Alfréd Wetzler, and Rudolf Vrba escape the Austwitz concentration camp in 1944, providing the Alies with one of the most crucial testimonies of the 20th century. Edit. Clapperboard. Again. Never again. Where does hatred come from? Why do we tend to banalise evil, or to become apathetic to it? Are we wiser and more resilient today than our ancestors? Is this a state of war? Can it be prevented? And if not, what will happen next? Closing credits?
