A world on the edge of the fantastic, where the heroine is a prisoner of her own web of lies, woven over many years. This Doll’s House brings together puppets, actors, music, and video projections in this eerie retelling of Henrik Ibsen’s renowned play. Reputed for her puppetry innovations, Yngvild Aspeli, the artistic director of the French-Norwegian company Plexus Polaire and the starring actor playing Nora, is at the origin of the staging which features impressive hyper-realistic puppets as well as a possessed female choir. A fascinating re-envisioning of the world famous classic which dates back more than a hundred years.
