Searching for Robinson

Joanne saw her dream come true. Joanne is in Prague. Joanne is in her little room. Joanne is in her little room which has no longer been a children’s room. Josephine and Jacob have left to fulfil their dreams. Maybe. A tropical island, seagulls, a sea, sunbathing, exploring, bathing, contemplating… a game we know from the TV, a survival game. Joanne, Josephine, Jacob: in isolation, far from everything, far from oneselves. Loneliness, void, silence when you don’t want silence, seagulls’ squawking when you want silence, duvets, plenty of duvets, duvets all around, duvets and sand – so much sand. Robinson Crusoe was shipwrecked and survived.
