DSB – ROUTES, ROOTS & BRIDGES

How do performances travel across borders — and what does it take to get them there?

A one-day industry programme of Theatre World Brno focused on international collaboration. The event brings together artists, producers, curators, and institutional representatives to share know-how, exchange experiences, and reflect on current challenges in the field. Alongside presentations of key organisations supporting mobility and international exchange, the programme also creates space for discussion and informal networking, where future collaborations can begin.

10:00–10:30 Registration

10:30–12:00 IN / OUT – Who Supports International Mobility
Short presentations by Czech and international organisations introducing platforms, funding schemes, and programmes supporting international collaboration in the performing arts.

12:30–14:00 How International Touring Works
A moderated discussion with international guests and cultural professionals focusing on touring, festival networks, and cross-border collaboration. The discussion will be followed by smaller round-table conversations (world café format), offering space for more focused exchange.
