TWB 2026 says goodbye. Thank you!

The 17th year of the Theatre World Brno festival is officially over. We would like to thank to the guest companies, creators, theatre staff, dramaturgy board, organizing team, collaborators, partners – and most importantly to all of you, the audience. Thank you for coming in such large numbers and creating such a great atmosphere! ❤️

We look forward seeing you again next year: May 19–25, 2027.

This year’s festival offered more than 16,500 tickets for its main program. This was the largest number of seats offered to date. In addition, the organizers prepared dozens of free events for the general public, which attracted several thousand more fans of the performing arts. In total, nearly 15,000 spectators attended the main program this year, which is more than 4,000 more than last year. The festival also nearly doubled its revenue this year, exceeding 6,000,000 CZK. With its upward trend over the past few years, the Theatre World Brno Festival has thus become the largest theater festival of its kind in the Czech Republic as of this year.
