(In)visible dramaturgy 2.0

DSB 27. 5. - 28. 5. Reduta Theatre / Mozart Hall GENRE: Industry program

10.00 a.m.-12.00 p.m. Dramaturgical tea room
A space for sharing, insights, tips and morning tea together (space to be determined)

1.00 p.m.-3.00 p.m. Perspectives of dramaturgy (Mozart Hall, Reduta Theatre)
What is the scope of the work of a dramaturg or dramaturge, where do the boundaries of this open discipline lead and which activities would we prefer not to perform within dramaturgy today? Is dramaturgy as a profession undergoing a transformation in the 21st century? How is the role of the dramaturg changing inside and outside the theatres? The main part of this session will include meetings and discussions with dramaturgs from abroad – Ilja Mirsky (digital dramaturg at the Residenztheater in Munich), Tijana Grumic (dramaturg, playwright, curator of the Bitef Festival in Belgrade) and Bastian Lomshe (artistic director and dramaturg at Theater Magdeburg)

3.30 p.m. -5.00 p.m. Perspectives of dramaturgical independence
Discussion meeting on the dramaturgical intersections between established (correct: public) and non-established (or private) theatre. Searching for possible overlaps and intersections on the dramaturgy scale, with particular emphasis on repertory vs. project institutions. Dramaturgy (in) operation. Limits as part of the concept. What role does the audience play.

The meeting is being organized by: Barbara Gregorová, Marta Ljubková, Lenka Havlíková, Katarína Koišová, Petr Pola
