The Cry of Nymphs

The Cry of Nymphs is a choreography by Uladzimir Ivanou, which draws inspiration from Monteverdi’s eponymous madrigal, Murcof’s musical interpretation, as well as the atmosphere of the “lake” in Moravian Square. The piece brings out deep human emotions and experiences such as loss and longing, and reflects on the power of love to both uplift and plunge a person into deep pain.
