ABOUT THEATRE

The original name of the new theatre was “the Free Theatre”. The name of the theatre changed several times, the Mrštík Brothers Theatre probably having been the best known one. After several moves, the ensemble settled in the hall of the former Morava cinema. In 1991 the name changed to the Brno City Theatre. In 1995 the theatre was reconstructed. In 2004, the Music Theatre opened.
