December 10, 2025 – Advance ticket sales begin for two special productions from the 2026 TWB season
This year, for the first time in 15 years, we have prepared something special for you. Advance Christmas sales of selected performances from the upcoming TWB 2026 festival. These are two dance projects from Czech and foreign productions.
FORMAN BROTHERS THEATRE – BIRD CONGRESS
Entering the world of the Forman Brothers Theatre means finding yourself in their characteristic fantastical visual universe. The Conference of the Birds, inspired by the mystical work of the Persian poet Fariduddin Attar, tells the story of birds searching for the meaning of the world — and themselves.
Together with actors, dancers, and performers from many countries, you will embark on a great journey to find a new king in a specially constructed mobile tent. Thanks to technology and animation, you will find yourself as close as possible — inside the story itself, in a space without a single pillar, where the stage and auditorium merge into one breath. Will you fly too?
Performance dates: May 19, May 20, May 22, May 23, and May 24 in the theater tent in Komárov.
➜ Tickets for all dates are now available in the PROGRAM on the website.
NEDERLANDS DANS THEATER (NDT) RETURNS TO BRNO AFTER 10 YEARS!
One of the world’s best dance companies is returning to Brno. On April 14 and 15, the Janáček Theater will present a preview of the Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) 1 & Complicite co-production project entitled CHARACTERS OF A DISAPPEARING WORLD, created in collaboration with choreographer Crystal Pite and director Simon McBurney.
Can we even hope to name what is disappearing? In times of alienation, it is essential to connect and understand what we are experiencing. The project Figures in Extinction is an attempt to find this unity and ignite a common spark of hope in the darkness. An evening of three choreographies will combine dance and extraordinary creativity. Be there!
April 14 and 15, 2026 | 7:00 p.m. | Janáček Theater
➜ Tickets for all dates are now available in the PROGRAM on the website.
