ABOUT THEATRE

Studio Marta is situated in the basement of an apartment house from the beginning of the 1930s. Students from the Janáček Academy of Music and Theatre have been acting here since 1952; however, Marta got its current appearance during the reconstruction based on the design of ing. arch. Jan Konečný in 1990-91. Stage, lighting and sound technologies were modernized in summer 2018.

“Pionýrská” stop, trams No. 1 and 6. About a 10-minute walk up Kotlářská street, turn left to Bayerova.
