The play is adapted from the graphic novel of the same name by Peter Sís, a metaphoric biography of the legendary adventurer and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It narrates his childhood, his dreams, his career as a mail pilot, his missions during the World War II as well as his fatal flight over the Mediterranean Sea… The production relates the life story of the pilot who enjoyed reading and writing in the cockpit of his plane. It is a story of how to surmount (not only) gravity and how to push the limits of what a single man can accomplish.
