The Visit

A somewhat strange hostess lives in a space with animals, mushrooms and dream creatures. She cooks colours from flowers, herbs, fruits or spices and likes to paint. She will be happy if you come to visit her, take a look on her paintings, sit down for a while… If you wish, you can have a sip of juice or paint. The play is an attempt to show things up close. To get up close to the moment when paint is created, to feel how it soaks into the paper, to see how the brush is held, how it slides across the surface or how it opposes. It is a view of things ordinary and simple, but which, when approached, speak the language of wonder. An intermedia conversation on the intersections of exposition and theatre.
